A number of residents of Squirrel Hill and other East End neighborhoods notice offensive smells in our community on many days, and they are worried about the well-being of their families,” O’Connor said. “We hope to learn more about the sources of air pollution that affect the city, how they might be harming our health and what steps can be taken to better control them.”

At the October 29th post-agenda City Council learned about these sources and the effects pollution is having on residents. Resident testimony, local and national experts, and city and county officials came before City Council and explained the health and economic impact of air pollution in Pittsburgh.
